Our Admissions Process
St Simon’s Catholic Primary School is conducted by its Governing Body as part of the Catholic Church and in accordance with its Trust Deed and Instrument of Government. As a Catholic school, we strive to be a witness to the teachings and values of Jesus Christ in all aspects of school life.
The Governing Body warmly welcomes applications from families of all faiths and denominations, as well as those with no faith background, who are supportive of the religious ethos and values of the school.
Following consultation with the Local Authority and other admission authorities, the Governing Body intends to admit up to 30 children into Reception from September 2027, without reference to ability or aptitude. Where applications exceed the number of places available, admissions will be allocated in accordance with the oversubscription criteria set out in the school's Admissions Policy. We encourage parents and carers to read the policy carefully before applying.
For admission into Reception in September 2027 you will need to submit:

- A supplementary Information Form – available to download from key documents below
- Your child’s full birth certificate and evidence of Baptism/Dedication (if applicable)
Please email these as a pdf to office@st-simons-ashford.kcsp.org.uk
